The first pass we analyze is the Boston CityPass: as for other cities, also for Boston the CityPass offers a booklet of four tickets that correspond to as many attractions in the city.



In this pass the attractions are fixed: even if in some cases there are alternatives, the attractions that can be visited are always four. Would you like to know more? Then let's move on.

What does it include?

With the Boston City Pass you can visit the following attractions:

  • Museum of Science

In addition, two of the following are available:

How does it work?

The CityPass consists of a block of four tickets, each of which entitles you to visit one of the attractions included in the offer.

Once in possession of the carnet, it is presented at the entrance of the attraction and the attendant will remove the corresponding ticket, after which, you are free to visit it.


Any attraction it can be visited only once, in the order you prefer. The visit of the first attraction coincides with the activation of the pass which, at that point, remains valid for 9 days.
Remember not to remove the tickets from you but to let the staff do this, or you will invalidate them.

Do I need to book the included attractions?

No, it's not necessary. If any attraction does not allow entry without a reservation, it will be reported to you at the time of purchasing the pass, so that you can make your reservation in time.

How does it work?

Using the Boston All Inclusive Pass is very easy.

It is perfect for visiting an average number of attractions; for a few it is better the Build your own pass which I will talk about in the next paragraph, for many the All Inclusive Pass.

The Boston Build Your Own Pass is the most flexible between the passes we have analyzed so far.

With this pass, in fact, you have 30 days to visit the attractions you prefer. The discount will be applied to the total cost of the tickets of the chosen attractions.

What does it include?

The pass includes admission to the number of attractions that you choose when purchasing. Among the most interesting I point out:

Grazie al Boston Build Your Own Pass you will get a 20% discount on the total cost of the attractions you include in your pass. To get the discount, you must choose at least two attractions.

How many days is it worth?

The pass has a valid for 30 days from the date of activation. To activate it you have 1 year from the date of purchase.

When is it convenient?

This pass is convenient when you want to visit a limited number of attractions, the cost of which tickets are lower than the price of other passes. To give an example, if you decide to visit:

  • Freedom Trail Walking Tour $14,00;
  • Paul Revere House $5,00;
  • Old State House $10,00

The cost of tickets is just $ 25,00, which is far below the price of any of the previously seen passes.

Even adding, for example, the $ 19,00 of the Skywalk Observatory, you would come to $ 44,00. $ 13 less than the All Inclusive and CityPass.

Thanks to the Build Your Own Pass, you would get a 20% discount on $ 44 and spend $ 35,20, getting an actual discount of $ 8,80. In addition, you would have the advantage of skipping the queue at the ticket offices.
