1 – Water Grill

Il Water Grill Santa Monica is a great seafood restaurant where patrons can enjoy an ocean view lunch or dinner.

The restaurant offers high quality dishes, for which only top quality products are chosen and cooked with professionalism.

Among the dishes on the menu we find grilled octopus, raw oysters, clams with chorizo ​​and crab claws, but one of the most popular dishes is lobster roll. The restaurant, furnished in an American style, is very elegant.



Average cost: around $ 50 per person, but it can go up to $ 100.

2 – A-Frame

A-Frame is an excellent Hawaiian restaurant very popular especially by young people who appreciate the innovative cuisine of chef Roy Choi, who offers his customers a very wide and varied menu including some very special dishes such as  chili rice cake.

The dish that is the most popular is undoubtedly the crazy mucus, which consists of a hamburger placed on a bed of rice, on top of which is a fried egg, all seasoned with Japanese curry sauce and pickled onions.

Here you can also eat with the formula ofAll you can eat, where three different types of chicken (Cracklin Beer Can Chicken, Mochiko Chicken, Chicken Wings) are served in combination with salad, corn on the cob, French fries, Hawaiian rolls and various sauces.



The restaurant is furnished in a pleasant style and also has outdoor tables available.

3 – Father’s office

Il Father’s office is a very popular American restaurant in Santa Monica where, since 1953, the famous "Office Burger" has been served. From 1986 to 2000, under the ownership of Lou Moench, the Father's office was one of the most influential restaurants in the rise of the American craft beer industry.

The highlight is precisely The Office Burger, topped with caramelized onion, apple bacon, gruyere, blue Maytag, rocket. For those who do not like burgers, then there is the possibility to eat there Bistro Steak and Frites, a classic bar steak served with shallot butter.

On the restaurant menu we also find 36 craft beers on tap.

4 – Burger must

Among the restaurants in Santa Monica stands out the Burger must, a Hawaiian restaurant founded and run by Chef Makani.


The restaurant serves burgers made with fresh organic meat from pasture-raised cows, which is accompanied by organic ingredients from local markets.

In Hawaiian, "pono" means "doing things right", and this is how Chef Makani processes his raw materials. The location is very nice and furnished in a modern style and there is also a nice list of beers on the menu.

5 – The Lobster

On the Santa Monica waterfront, facing the ocean, it is located T, a fish restaurant opened in 1923 which over the years has become a real one  culinary institution of Santa Monica.

The restaurant enjoys a privileged position and has a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, on Pier Santa Monica.

The menu features classic American fresh seafood dishes, with appetizers made from seasonal produce and seafood that is locally grown and caught whenever possible.

The restaurant's highlight is undoubtedly the lobster, which is seen as a tribute to the family that earned the restaurant its excellent reputation.
