Bergamo is located a stone's throw from the mountains and valleys. This area has always relied on the products of the earth, to make what they have become typical dishes. The first is undoubtedly polenta, a dish as famous as it is simple. Thanks to the addition of semi-aged cheeses, such as Branzi, it becomes Polenta Taragna, a delight that is now consumed throughout Italy.

Polenta can also be combined with of the fragrant local salami, to stewed or grilled meat, to excellent mushrooms or meat sauce. Among the first courses we cannot fail to mention the casoncelli, the famous pasta filled with meat, parmesan cheese and other secret ingredients: every family jealously keeps its own recipe! Before serving, they are topped with melted butter, sage and crispy bacon. In addition to these specialties, soups and soups are prepared throughout the province, stewed and braised meat (game is very popular) and grilled sausages, accompanied by local vegetables.

8 - Goss Quality Burger

Goss is a place that basically delivers quality street food and, as the name implies, the specialties are sandwiches stuffed with hamburgers. The possibilities of choice, however, are varied, ranging from grilled meat to salads, without forgetting the classic cutting boards. The specialty is the Gamburger, the 0 km burger from Bergamo, created in collaboration with the Gamba Edorda company from Villa D'Almè. The burgers are hand made using selected heifer meat and salami pasta from Bergamo. The filling also includes branzi cheese, lettuce, local pancetta and pumpkin and ginger compote.
