Suriname is one of the smallest countries in South America. It is also one of the least known and therefore not affected by the large tourist flows that characterize countries such as Brazil, Argentina or Peru. Despite this, it is a country that absolutely deserves to be visited. Over the centuries it has been inhabited by many different populations, starting with the indigenous Caribs, to then pass from England to Spain and finally to Holland. And, when you visit it, you will immediately notice this mix of peoples and cultures.
If you are thinking of organizing a few days in this destination, here is some useful information and some itineraries to organize a perfect trip to Suriname.
