She set sail from Venice for the world Tour the Costa Luminosa.
Will sail for 112 days, touching 43 stages in the five continents and crossing three oceans. It is the Great Oceans Cruise which returns for the eleventh year and which will reach some of the most beautiful ports in the world.
Alternating destinations with a high artistic and cultural heritage with real terrestrial paradises, passengers on board the ship will be able to satisfy their inexhaustible curiosity and their desire to travel.
Starting from Italy we will go to explore France and Spain to continue towards Casablanca (Morocco) and the Canary Islands. Costa Luminosa will then sail to Latin America where guests can explore Brazil, Argentina and Chile, enjoying a wonderful passage to Cape Horn, in the Strait of Magellan and between Chilean fjords, to continue further towards the natural paradises of Easter Island, Pitcairn Island and French Polynesia.
The ship will leave for New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia, to discover the picturesque island of Bali, up to the very modern Singapore. After a few days in Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka we will reach India.
Dubai, Oman and Jordan are the next stops. Crossing the Suez passage the world tour will come to an end, returning to Venice, after a stop in Olympia. During the stops at the ports, hundreds of excursions are planned to discover the destinations reached by the ship.
Seven ports of embarkation. The cruise it can be divided into three sections, for those who do not have the opportunity to treat themselves to a holiday that is almost four months long: Venice-Santiago de Chile, Santiago de Chile-Singapore and Singapore-Venice.
The Costa Luminosa can accommodate 2.826 passengers and 1.050 crew members. On board, 11 bars, including the Coffee & Chocolate Bar, four restaurants, three swimming pools, a multi-sports field, a Spa (Samsara Spa), a nightclub and a cinema 4D, the Grand Bar dance floor and the Grand Prix simulator. So there are plenty of activities on board during navigation.
But the ship is also a floating museum. There are many works of art and design on board, starting with the “Reclining Woman 2004”, a sculpture by Fernando Botero that fills the central hall of the ship.
The name "Luminosa" then takes inspiration from the play of light enhanced by Murano chandeliers, from crystals, iridescent fabrics and a particular theatrical lighting in all areas of the ship. Starting from the Supernova Atrium, where you can admire the brightest stars in the universe on every bridge. And then, the whole ship is covered with precious boiserie, from floors to ceilings. A true luxury cruise for those lucky enough to board this ship.
Passengers can choose between different types of cabins. We highly recommend the one with the balcony for such a long cruise. But obviously those who can afford it can stay in one Samsara luxury suite within the spa area, with a personal butler, Vip area, dedicated restaurant, seats always in the first row in the ship's theater e invitations to special events which are kept on board throughout the cruise.
But how much does it cost to go around the world on this cruise ship? Prices start at 12.500 euros in the inside cabin per person up to a maximum of 60 thousand euros in the suite. You can already book the 2020 world tour. However, the ship will be the Costa Deliziosa. For your information, the suites are already sold out.
