Saint Lucia is a Caribbean island that hosts two particular volcanic formations called Pitons.     • From the main European capitals: from London you have to make a stopover in Antigua (duration 9 hours) and from Antigua you can get to St Lucia in about an hour with Virgin Atlantic, LIAC. From Paris there are one or two stopovers, usually in Martinique. Then from here to St Lucia it's a 25 minute flight. The companies are Vueling, LIAT, British Airways, Corsair. From Berlin there are at least two stopovers (London and Barbados) with British Airways and LIAT.

    • Weather: tropical climate, hot all year round, with a relatively cool and dry season (from January to mid-April) in which the north-east trade winds blow constantly, and a hot, muggy and rainy season (from mid-June to November), where the winds are more irregular. Temperatures are constant throughout the year, around 25 °, with lows of 23 in the coldest months, and 31 in the warmest ones. The rains vary according to altitude and location, but are substantially more frequent and abundant from July to November, sporadic and shorter from February to April. The sea is warm all year round, with temperatures ranging from 26 ° C in February and March to 29 ° C in September and October.
    • Best time: from December to April, being the coolest and least rainy, and in particular from February to April (driest).
    • Period to avoid: Hurricane season runs from June to November, and the odds increase from August to October.
    • Advice: in all seasons, pack cool, breathable clothes, a light sweatshirt and a raincoat for thunderstorms. Snorkeling equipment, aquatic shoes or with rubber soles for the coral reef.
      Bring mosquito repellent, as mosquitoes can transmit viruses.     5. Reduit Beach, one of the most beautiful and famous beaches, made of white sand overlooking a bay washed by the sea of ​​a turquoise color. Here there is no shortage of all comforts, bars and entertainment: for those who want a holiday of this type, this is the ideal beach.
    6. Sandy beach, a very nice beach where mostly locals are found. The currents are quite strong and create fantastic waves for those who love water sports.
    7. Malgretoute Beach, a beach characterized by dark sand and gravel. The water is transparent and gently sloping towards the open sea, therefore perfect for snorkeling.
    8. Honeymoon Beach, is a beach of soft white sand surrounded by tall palm trees and greenery. It is surrounded by rolling hills and the sea that bathes this splendid bay is crystal clear.
    9. Marigot Bay, is an irregularly shaped cove bordered by luxuriant palm trees. Along the Marigot Bay there are several narrow beaches bathed by a wonderful and almost always calm sea. Boats often dock here and boats can be hired for pleasant excursions.
    10. Roseau Beach, is an uncontaminated and wild beach, with a long sandy coast and washed by a limpid sea, with shallow waters. Around there are dense woods and cliffs, behind you you can admire a huge banana field.
