Illetes, the most beautiful beach of Formentera
Discovering the most beautiful beaches of Formentera is an exercise in which everyone would like to try their luck. Our advice is to go to the beach of Ses Illetes, which has nothing to envy to the most evocative Caribbean landscapes. To get there you can go by car or, failing that, use public transport, which fortunately on the island guarantee an optimal service thanks to the Avenida Mediterranea.
However, it is good to know that the beach is located within a protected area: therefore, if you want to enter by car (or even scooter) you must pay a toll, which in any case does not cost more than 5 euros. If desired, there would also be free parking nearby, but it may not necessarily be easy to find a free spot, especially in summer and especially from mid-morning onwards.index

In any case, Platja De Ses Illetes is not the only beach in Formentera worth discovering. A special mention, for example, is a must for the litorale di Es Pujols, which is located on the north side and, despite being often crowded, offers unique emotions.
The beach is white and the sea waters are of a turquoise color that is almost hard to believe: the peculiar feature of this stretch of coast, however, is its shape in two semicircles, with a row of rocks separating the two parts. . .
Also to the north is there cove in baster, with many rocks near the shore in the shape of a horseshoe. Further west, however, it is worth visiting Cala Saona, about 140 meters wide and 200 meters long, bordered by a green pine forest. Much longer is Platja de Migjorn, while Calò d'es Morts looks like a narrow strip of land where the rocky coastline alternates with the sandy one.
