There is a rainy season from November to March and a dry season from April to October (except on the east coast where it rains all year round). Madagascar has the seasons reversed compared to Europe.
      Temperatures all year round vary from min. 22-23 degrees to max 29-30. The sea temperature is around 24-25 degrees from June to September, 28 from October to May.
    • Best time: the best time to go on excursions and visit the flora and fauna attractions is from April to October. To go to the beach, on the west coast from mid-May to October, on the east coast in September and October. The north-west part is hot all year round (Mahajanga, Nosy-Be, Antsiranana), while in the central-southern part September and October are preferable. In Nosy-Be you can go from mid-May to October.     The difficulty level is medium, but it must be taken into account that over 1.000 km will be covered on stretches of road made of earth, sand and rocks, so you need resistance, a spirit of adaptation and adventure.

    5 - South Madagascar: between nature and culture
