Il Nevada is located in the western part of the United States. The name of the state derives from the Spanish and means “snowy” due to the presence of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The state is the one that is undergoing the greatest demographic increase compared to the rest of the American federation.

The natural sceneries offered by the State of Nevada make it unique, alongside them completely original is the juxtaposition with the very famous Las Vegas and the related life linked to gambling. The boundless deserts of Nevada make the land fascinating on one side but barren and desolate on the other. The sound of slot machines that comes from casinos but also from clubs, hotels, petrol stations, even from the supermarket, breaks the dull sound of desert areas, giving greater ambiguity to the state.

Historical notes

It did not initially arouse great interest on the part of European settlers, the pioneers' intention changes when instead a gold and silver deposit is discovered in the south of the country. The territory of Nevada therefore becomes a destination for research of precious minerals but the Great Depression puts a strain on the economy of the state. In 1931 with a law the legality of gambling was established, so Nevada regained its share by taxing the winnings of games and wagers and thus recovered economically and became a great attraction for tourism, today the main economic source. just for the chance to try your luck.

Las Vegas is the city of lights, hedonism, fun, money, risk, you wander among luxury hotels, resorts, enjoying prestigious cocktails and the cuisine of great chefs, passing alongside VIPs who rent the most luxurious suites.

Carson City it is the capital of Nevada but looks like a small town, with quieter casinos and also offers the visitor an important historical itinerary.

Nevada is also a desolate territory that is worth visiting to get to know the roads and paths trodden by hunters of gold and skins, thus finding small villages, with buildings with a past flavor. There Highway 50 it is the loneliest road in America, where the towns are several kilometers apart and where the only noise is that of your car and the wind.
