    5 floors of famous people await you in the heart of New York! At the wax museum of Madame Tussauds you will find over 200 statues welcoming you to the Big Apple.

    They are so well made that they seem real and belong to the most varied categories: from politics to music, from fashion to TV, from science to sport, from television series to films that have made the history of cinema. If children are sure to be delighted to see their favorite characters all together, even adults will not be disappointed: the number of selfies to take will be infinite!

    What to see at the Madame Tussauds museum

    During your VIP experience you can attend a party with some of Hollywood's most famous celebrities: Whoopy Goldberg, Brad Pitt e Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, Anne Hathaway, Woody Allen, Samuel L. Jackson, Julia Roberts, Leonardo Dicaprio are just some of the characters you will meet. Heidi Klum will welcome fashion lovers throughout the experience Project Runaway, where the viewer can also become a stylist.

    If as a child you wanted to save ET at all costs, here you can get on your bicycle and, illuminated by the moon, imagine yourself taking off. Be careful because flying you could end up with Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz or the beautiful Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games! Speaking of movie icons, a selfie with Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe is a must.

    In the section dedicated to world leaders you will be able to see Lincoln, George Washington, Obama e Trump as well as Albert Einstein, Papa Francesco, Wojtyla, the Dalai Lama, John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline, Gandhi, Martin Luther King. Also in this case, a selfie in the oval studio cannot be missed.

    Among the pop icons you will meet the great Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday as well as Katy Perry, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez. Sports enthusiasts include Lionel Messi, Mohammed Ali, Michelle Kwan, Serena Williams and Carmelo Anthony.

    The sections dedicated to Ghostbusters are particularly rich in special effects, King Kong Skull Island and the heroes of Marvel. In Ghostbusters: Dimension you can, through virtual reality, become a ghostbuster and annihilate the ghosts you find along the way yourself. Marvel Experience's 4D multisensory vision will be great for young and old alike who love the Hulk, Spider-Man and others Marvel superheroes.


    Where is it and how to get there

    The Madame Tussauds Museum of New York is located in Times Square, al 234 West 42nd Street. The closest subway stops are 42 St. - Port Authority Bus Terminal for lines A, C, E or Times Square 42 Street Station for line 7. From both stops you will reach the museum in less than 2 minutes on foot.

    Opening hours and entrance rules

    To access Madame Tussauds all over 12s will have to provide proof of vaccination.

    The museum opening hours are:

    • from Sunday to Thursday from 11.00 to 16.00
    • Friday and Saturday from 11.00 to 20.00

    The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and a half, but obviously depends on each person.


    To visit the Madame Tussauds museum you can choose between three different types of tickets:

    • The ticket Celebrity: it is the basic ticket that guarantees access only.
    • The ticket Super Hero: in addition to the entrance, it gives the opportunity to experience the Marvel Super Heroes in 4D cinema.
    • The ticket Ghostbusters Dimension: offers all the previous benefits plus the possibility of experiencing the paranormal thanks to hyper reality in an activity focused on the famous ghostbusters.

    If the cost of the ticket seems too expensive, in addition to buying it online with the discounts listed above, remember that often in front of the museum entrance there are people who sell tours with dinner and admission or coupons with a discount on the ticket. In addition, Madame Tussauds is one of the most popular and important attractions in New York, so it is included in almost every New York Pass.
