Rainfall is present during most of the year and very intense, with the exception of the summer months which have few rainy days and not too abundant
    • Best time: from May to October as it is a dry season with little rain
    • Period to avoid: from November to April due to frequent rains and the risk of tropical cyclones
    • Advice: in your suitcase you just need to bring everything you need for the sea and light clothes, but if your trip includes visiting temples then you will also need long trousers and a jacket to cover your shoulders. We recommend that you bring rubber shoes for those who intend to snorkel among the coral reef

    1. Pangandaran it is the most famous and busiest beach on the island of Java, also considered the most beautiful. It is located on the southern coast and is a long strip of white sand bathed by clear sea and waves ideal for surfing and other sports, it is also surrounded by a comfortable promenade, hotels and various tourist services
    2. Batu Karas it is always located on the southern coast, a few kilometers from the previous one. Even this beach, like a real tropical beach, is characterized by fine white sand and crystal clear waters but unlike its neighbor it is less touristy so it is more suitable for relaxing
    3. Kukup Beach it is a small beach that extends into a cove on the south coast. Reaching it is a bit difficult but once you arrive it will amaze you with its golden sand and its high cliff that shelters it from wind and storms making it very quiet
    4. Parangtritis Beach is another wonderful southern beach formed by a long stretch of sand with dunes and hills covered with tropical forest behind it. Despite its beauty, however, the beach is known for the ancient Labuhan ceremony, a ritual that reconciles men and spirits
    5. Timang Beach it is always located in the south of the island and is an uncontaminated beach still little traveled by mass tourism, a place that still preserves its tranquility and its natural beauty concentrated in a white sand cove
    6. Anyer Beach is a beach on the north coast made up of golden sand, cliffs and stones, not very frequented by tourists and ideal for relaxing, fishing and snorkeling
    7. Merak Beach it is a neighbor of the previous beach, also sandy and not very touristy, ideal for enjoying the tranquility, the calm sea and the heat
    8. Green Canyon it is a set of coves between the rocks in which several small rivers make their way creating beautiful colors and lots of fun thanks to the possibility of diving or rafting. It is located in the central area of ​​the Island of Java not far from the southern coast and although it is a wonderful natural attraction, the canyon is still not very popular with tourists as it is not sufficiently sponsored.
    9. Ranu Kumbolo, for those wishing to do something other than beach life, is a mountain lake in the south-east of Java Island, a quiet place that offers trails through the wild nature of the surrounding forest
    10. Borobudur it is perhaps the best known Buddhist temple on the island of Java, located in the central area and belonging to the World Heritage Site. It is a mammoth historical-religious site dating back to 800 AD divided into terraces and levels, each with its own meaning

    A vacation can be backed up with very little money, it just depends on your own claims. In fact, Indonesia in general has a very low cost of living so, if you don't dream of luxury resorts and five-star holidays, you can live on a very cheap daily budget.

    Once you have booked the flight which is to be considered the most expensive part of the trip, but not too much if you move well in advance, you can find hostels and guest houses between € 3,00 and € 5,00 even in high season and including breakfast. For other meals, on the other hand, you can opt for the restaurant for both lunch and dinner a full meal costs around € 5,00, not to mention street food with even lower prices.
