The capital of Illinois is Springfield which creates a central area of ​​the state which is also the most populated. To the north, on the other hand, Illinois has the region where everything is concentrated in the city of Chicago, while to the south the country is characterized by large areas with crops as well as oil and coal fields.

The State of Illinois is the land where one of the greatest prehistoric civilizations in all of North America developed. With a huge leap in time, going back to the Civil War, Illinois benefited from being a major center for the steel and heavy industry industries. However, the notable economic growth has given rise to frequent conflicts between industrialists and workers, resulting in frequent struggles and the birth of strong trade union experiences.
