The beauty of Formentera

Fine golden sand, flourishing vegetation, dense pine forests. The light of Formentera dazzles the incomparable scenery and warms the heart of those who now experience this island not only for short holidays. You fall in love with her at first sight, given the beauty of the places with the salt pans or the countless coves, without forgetting the lighthouses of Formentera located in places of unique beauty. Among the latter, for example, the Faro della Mola and that of Es Cap De Barbaria are among the best known and appreciated not only by tourists, but also by the islanders themselves. La Mola is considered a magical place; so is also described by the writer Julius Verne in some of his works. The lighthouse of Es Cap de Barbaria instead it enjoys a breathtaking view: you will feel like you are experiencing an immense sensation of freedom and peace. A must visit at sunset.

Among the magnificent and paradisiacal coves, the one we are most fond of is Cala d'Es Mort nestled between the rocks and the wild nature. Very small with its 70 meters it is a real little unknown gem. If you want to find a place, it is better to arrive early in the morning, especially during the months of July and August. From here it is possible to organize real excursions: long walks to discover the coast towards Es Ram up to S'Stove. Remember to bring water and some snacks as there are not many services and restaurants along the route.
