4 - Eger

Eger is a city in the northwest of Hungary, in a purely hilly area, 127 kilometers from Budapest, about an hour and a half by car.

6 - Royal Palace of Gödöllő

Il Gödöllő Royal Palace, also known as Grassalkovich Palace, is a Baroque-style palace located in Gödöllő, in the province of Pest, 28 kilometers from Budapest, about half an hour by car.

It was built between 1741 and 1760 at the behest of Count Antal Grassalkovich, who entrusted the project to the architect Andras Mayerhoffer. In 1867 it passed to the Austro-Hungarian crown and Empress Elizabeth transformed it into her and her husband's summer residence, King Franz Joseph I of Austria. This palace, in addition to being the Hungary's largest Baroque palace, it is also the second largest estate in Europe, second to the imposing Palace of Versailles in France.

7 - Esterházy Fertőd Castle

Il Esterházy Fertőd Castle, is a Rococo-style palace located in Fertőd-Eszterháza, 184 kilometers from Budapest, near the border with Austria, about two hours by car.

Also known as the "Hungarian Versailles", this castle is the largest Rococo building in all of Hungary. The construction work began in 1720 on a project by the architect Erhard Martinelli and the extension works continued until 1790. 9 - Aggtelek National Park and Baradla Cave
