    • Weather: tropical, there is a cooler and drier season between January and April, and a hot, rainy and sultry season between June and November; however, the climate is hot and humid most of the year. They are recorded on average 25 ° in January and February, and around 28 ° from June to September. Precipitation is rather limited due to the trade winds. The sea is quite warm all year round: from 26 ° C from January to April to 29 ° C in September.
    • Best time: between December and April, when the climate is less rainy and muggy.
    • Period to avoid: August and September are the wettest months, slightly less June and July, during which hurricanes could also occur.

    3. Caves of Barbuda: they run along the cliff on the sea and it is possible to see different species of animals that inhabit Barbuda; then there is a cave with petroglyphs that were left by the Arawak people.
    4. Frigate Bird Sanctuary: the island is home to the largest frigate bird colony in the western hemisphere; in particular it is located in the Codrington lagoon, and is only accessible by a short boat trip with an expert guide.
    5. Martello Tower: it is located on the southern coast and was built in the early 1800s as a defense base for the British, to guard the landing on the river and the original quay of the island.
    6. Low Bay: it is a paradisiacal and picturesque coast that extends along the north-west side of the island; great for long swims or snorkeling.
    7. Gravenor Bay: this is another large bay on the southern side of the island, also perfect for snorkeling.
    8. Coco Point: this is the beach of the Coco Point Lodge resort, characterized by white and pink sand, crystal clear water full of starfish and many tall coconut palms.
    9. 17 Mile Beach: pink sand beach and clear sky blue waters, this is an isolated area with no establishments, which may or may not be an advantage depending on your preferences.
