Alicudi, Aeolian Islands: where it is, when to go and what to see

Nicknamed by the Greeks "Ericusa" for the presence of the Erica plant which grows mightily in this area, Alicudi is the westernmost of the Aeolian Islands, as well as being one of the islands of the archipelago where time seems to have stopped.
There are no cars here and you move strictly on foot walking along the mule tracks that from the port branch off all over the island until you reach the highest peak.
Un terrestrial corner permeated by silence where you can spend an entire holiday or even just a few days between nature and the sea to relax.
