1 - Souvlaki

Surely the most famous Greek dish, available both in restaurants and by street vendors.
Il Souvlaki is a skewer of pork, chicken or lamb cooked over a low heat. In the capital it is also known as Kalamaki, try it and you will not be disappointed.

Considered the sister of the Tiropita and similar in appearance (sheet of phyllo dough), but it is in the filling that the spanakopita gives the best.
